This project has been in the works since August 2015, when the boy scouts I work with asked me to build a Pikachu robot for them. Between having a baby, research, and lack of funds to buy new parts, I finally have made some progress.
Here it is using a 5-button toggle switch I was using to get it started.
My wife got me an R/C controller for Christmas, and I promptly hooked it up to my little bot. It certainly made it look more cleaned up.
I’ve also mounted the battery and tied up the tail (the servo is not connected to the board yet). I have some tweaking to do in the software and I have yet to connect the tail servo and build shell, but it is progress, nonetheless.
