Lighting a Match in Slow-Motion

This is captured using a slow-motion camera in the ME instrumentation class at BYU. The camera was triggered using an infrared phototransistor circuit. (The infrared LED is visible as the blue dot in the lower right hand corner.

Shot at a much faster rate (more frames per second) than the faucet videos, this shows the initial stages of a match igniting.
